Grassroots Cultivation
We partner with and connect grassroots organizations rooted in Black and Indigenous liberation work to resources held by white majority faith congregations and affluent organizations.
We move the resources we can move to them to support their visions and projects.

We hold a vision of the world we think reparations can create.
Reparations is a tool to resource community to create and build what it needs to thrive. In order to provoke that thriving, we partner with Black- and indigenous-led organizations that are building a world of solidarity economics and just transition, a world of flourishing and self-determination.
The organizations we partner with are working to cultivate different aspects of this alternate way of living and being. We work with our partners in close relationship, led by their needs, and striving always to stay in relational health and integrity.
We choose organizations that are focused on:
Just transition of land
Building Black/indigenous movement of infrastructure
Rest and healing as resistance
“We’re gonna have to do more than talk. We’re gonna have to do more than listen. We’re gonna have to do more than learn. We’re gonna have to start practicing and that’s very hard. We’re gonna have to start getting out there with the people and that’s difficult. Sometimes we think we’re better than the people so it’s gonna take a lot of hard work.”
